The Mayor is elected to a four year term and oversees the Police Department for a salary of $55 per month. The Mayor has no vote except to break a tie of Council, but does have veto power which can be overridden by a two thirds vote of council.

Lincoln Borough Council is comprised of five (5) members, all of whom are elected to four (4) year terms which are staggered. Each member of Council including the president, receives $45 per month.

Borough Council regularly meets the third Tuesday of each month at the Lincoln Borough Municipal Building Council Chambers on Liberty Way at 7:30 P.M. unless a change is advertised due to a holiday or special meeting.
